More HD channels launch Wednesday!
Seven new HD channels will launch in legacy areas Wednesday, bringing the total number of HD channels to as many as 58!

Launching Wednesday are:

Adult HD            Ch. 401
CNBC HD         Ch. 717
ESPNU HD        Ch. 723
Bravo HD           Ch. 744
Speed HD           Ch. 756
Toon Disney HD  Ch. 771
Sci-Fi HD            Ch. 773

Other changes include HD channel moves. WTTE HD will move to channel 708, WOSU HD will move to channel 707 and WWHO HD will move to channel 713.

Also launching in all TWC legacy systems on Jan. 14 is PBS Sprout. The new kids channel will be part of the Digital Variety Package. In the Columbus lineup, PBS Sprout will be on channel 158, in Lima on channel 100 and on channel 140 in Fostoria.
Virtual Video Store launched


Six new thematic MOD services launched in legacy areas last Friday. This “Virtual Video Store” includes hundreds of movies priced from $.99 to $2.99. This service will launch in legacy Columbus and Northwest Line-ups on the following channels (categories):

HBO Inauguration special open to all TWC customers
HBO will exclusively televise the WE ARE ONE: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial, on Sunday, Jan.18 from 7 to 9 P.M. We will open HBO in all areas to allow our subscribers to enjoy this free special programming event. 
  • In Legacy areas, this special HBO programming will air on Channel 24.
  • In former Adelphia areas we will open HBO channel.
